About the Role:

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team, which is focused on optimizing a Programmatic AdTech platform for one of the top US media companies. We serve millions of ads daily across platforms like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and dozens of other media channels. With today's AI and GenAI technologies, there are numerous opportunities to optimize traffic and create dynamic ads on the fly. This remote position is ideal for an experienced data and machine learning professional who excels in data analytics and thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. You will be at the forefront of the GenAI revolution in the AdTech industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a backend developer, with at least 2 years working with Node.js. Proficiency in the Nest.js framework for building scalable server-side applications. 
  
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming patterns. In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design best practices. 
  
• Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. 
  
• Proficient with unit testing and tools like Jest. 
  
  

Good to have: 

• Hands-on DevOps experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  
• Previous experience in the adtech industry, with a solid understanding of its challenges and technologies.
  
• Familiarity with the Databricks platform for data engineering and analytics.
