About the role:
We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer with a strong background in Open Source tool sets to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in our project, which involves implementing CGDevX platform modules into the processes of an innovative AdTech platform, a market leader in the US. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our platform infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
You will:
- Design, implement, and manage our platform infrastructure using Open Source toolsets.
- Maintain the health of our Software as a Service (SaaS) offering and CGDevX platform
- Guide the evolution of our cloud architecture and infrastructure including the design, deployment, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for software development environments.
- Improve the availability, scalability, and performance of cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and support cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and software environments.
- Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network policies.
- Enhance and optimize our CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code practices, and software delivery pipelines for increased efficiency and reliability.

Successful candidate typically possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role
- 3 years of experience with Kubernetes Engineering
- Strong knowledge of JFrog products and tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies such as Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Argo CD.
- Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and/or ELK stack.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) especially AMI, EC2, RDS, Route53, S3, ECS, IAM, CloudFront, Lambda, and VPC
- Experience with CI/CD for scaling applications including repository and branch management using Git/Github
- Experience with IIS, Nginx, PowerShell, and Python
- Knowledge of serverless and cloud-native architecture
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Powershell)
- Experience with configuration management tools like Vault
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Database experience (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, AWS RDS Aurora)
- Continually evaluate and adopt the latest industry technologies to optimize costs and streamline processes.
- Experience with continuous deployment in a high-availability environment
- Has or is working towards achieving the AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications, CKA or CKD
